There's not really anything interesting going on right now, but I thought I would update the site just so I could use my new and improved email notification features again.

Today I improved the email notification considerably. I also added some new site administration features that only I am able to see, but trust me they are pretty cool.

Defector Public Beta |

I'm happy to announce that after a lot of work today, I've gotten the UVTEK Software web site into a "beta test" stage. I am still working toward a Spring-time official launch date, but it is at the point now where it can receive some traffic without too much embarrassment. I am planning to release the first public beta of my Defector software (which Cynthia once inadvertantly called my "mistake" software hehe) this Sunday. Amazingly enough, I think it is actually ready. Isn't it great to set a goal for a project, with a clear set of tasks and guidelines and a definitive completion date? What a novelty!

I forgot to mention that I won the First Annual Cerebral Locomotion Race With Silly Toy Remote Controlled Cars at work on New Year's Eve. (Yes, I had to work on New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve.) I won a bottle of French champaigne for my efforts.
